On March 17th, Company 5 was alerted to assist LeContes Mills Fire Company 21 with a house fire on the Gillingham Rd, Girard Township. As units were checking enroute, 911 advised that the caller was reporting flames showing from the kitchen area.

On March 3rd at approximately 10:50 pm Company 5 was dispatched to a working structure fire along old S.R. 153 near the Four Mile Road. Initial reports indicated a DCNR facility was to be on fire.

Company 5 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm in a high rise complex.  Chief 5 and Engine 5 responded, once on scene crews found light smoke conditions in the apartment. 

Company 5 was dispatched to assist company 44 and company 21 with a brush fire out on the Caledonia pike in Goshen township, Dispatch indicated that it was about an acre and spreading endangering camps.  When units arrived they found a field like area burning away from the woods line. …

Company 5 was dispatched mutual aid to Hyde for a single vehicle crash with entrapment on Washington Ave.   

We would like to welcome the newest member to our fire family, Sutton Rae Martino.

On January 14th, Company 5 was dispatched to assist with a structure fire along Goshen Road in Goshen Township.

The Rescue Hose and Ladder Co. will be holding a benefit Breakfast for firefighter Nathan Smith. Nathan suddenly became ill this past weekend and was taken to the hospital.

It is with deepest sorrow that the Officers and Members of the Lawrence Township Fire Co #1 announce the passing of founding and life member Bruce W. Evans.
