On October 5th Company 5 was dispatched to assist Curwensville FD with a structure fire along Addleman Lane in Pike Township. Engine 5 responded assisting Company 8 along with other mutual aid companies with fire suppression and overhaul.

The cause of the fire was undermined and under investigation by the PSP Fire Marshal. The house and contents were deemed  a total loss.
