On November 24th, Company 5 was dispatched to assist Hyde Fire Company with a house fire. The 911 caller had reported that her wood burner had caught the wall on fire and the house was now filling with smoke. Upon police arrival, officers confirmed the home to be full of smoke. Several units from Companies 5,1,6,8 and 7 arrived shortly after and went to work opening up the walls to extinguish the fire. Company 5 cleared a short time later.
