On November 19th, Company 5 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident along Rockton Mtn Hwy near Mill Road. Initial reports came from Clearfield Police as they had observed a vehicle accident in the old Florian Banquet Center parking lot. Upon investigation they found a single vehicle that had been traveling down Rockton Mountain when it struck a guide rail head on, then rolled over into a ditch beside the current Tri-County Church. Fire crews arrived on scene and assisted with patient care and traffic control. The driver was transported to the hospital by EMS.
