On November 20th, Company 5 was dispatched to assist Clearfield Boro Station 1 with a house fire at the address of 420 E. 7th Street within Clearfield Boro. Engine 5 arrived on scene first and was advised by the police department the fire to be out. After a short investigation by interior crews, it was confirmed the fire was out. Crews from Company 5 & 1 the ventilated the residence and cleared a short time later. The cause of the fire is believed to have started from rags soiled with varnish.
