Working House Fire
At 0648 Company 5 was alerted for a working structure fire in our first due area with possible entrapment in Kerr Addition. Engine 5 went en-route with a crew of 7 and was advised by Clearfield County 911 that caller was advising working fire with occupants on the porch roof. Shortly after, Captain 5 arrived on scene and assumed Command. PD advised all occupants were out of the house. Engine 5 arrived and deployed 2 hand lines for fire suppression. Squad 1 established water supply connecting to a hydrant at the corner of Mapes St. and Palmer St. which then fed into Engine Tanker 6, Engine 5 and Truck 6. Quick work of the crews allowed for fast suppression of the fire. Companies 1 (Clearfield),6 (Hyde), and 8 (Curwensville) provided mutual aid at the scene as well as Companies 39 (North Point) and 41 (Penfield) who stood by at our station while we were at the scene.
