This morning Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle accident in the area of Industrial Park Rd with initial reports indicated a single vehicle into a telephone pole. Engine 5 and Rescue 5 responded along with Chief 5 and upon arrival located a Ford F350 which had left the roadway, sheared a telephone pole off, and stopped after becoming stuck on a group of concrete barriers. Crews assisted EMS while providing traffic control. The driver was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken to Penn Highlands.
