Engine 5 First Arriving On A Working House Fire
Yesterday evening around 19:14 Hrs, the box was struck for a reported house on fire with possible people trapped in company 16’s first due area. Engine 5 responded rapidly with a crew of 6 and while enroute, communications received a 2nd call confirming everyone was out of the residence. Upon arrival the engine laid out 600 ft of supply hose, confirming a 2 story residential home with heavy fire showing from the first and second division. Crews quickly placed 3 attack lines into service and began fire attack. Into operations command deemed interior operations as unsafe and master streams were established to knock down the remaining fire. Crews operated for approximately 4 hours.
