On November 18th shortly before 5:00 am, Company 5 was alerted to assist the Hyde Fire Company with a building fire on River Road in Lawrence Township.

The initial report to Clearfield County 911 was of a passer by saw flames coming from the roof of a church, however they were not positive which church it was. The Lawrence Twp. PD were first to arrive and notified county of a working building fire with flames showing.

Engine 5 responded shortly after dispatch with a crew of 8. While numerous company’s were responding command upgraded the fire to a second alarm fire which brought an additional truck and tankers.

The crew from Engine 5 assisted with fire suppression and over haul.
