Brush Fire
On August 22nd, Company 5 responded to a mutual aid request from Woodland Fire Dept for a large brush fire in the area of Independent Rd. Upon arrival crews located a fast moving field fire approximately 3 acres and growing in size. Crews deployed two hand lines and gained control of the fire in area in which units were located. Crews operated on scene for approximately 30 minutes before clearing.
