Around 5:30pm Company 5 was alerted for a vehicle accident involving 2 vehicles with possible entrapment in the area of the PennDot shed on Rockton Mountain Hwy.   EMS personnel arrived on scene and confirmed 2 passenger vehicles head on with one patient trapped in one of the vehicles.   Within minutes Rescue 5 responded and arrived on scene, their crew pulling 3 Hurst tools and an assortment of cribbing. Once beginning extrication,  the patient was able to be cut from the vehicle in under 10 minutes and transferred to EMS care. A total of 2 medical helicopters were requested to the scene, both of which landed at the PennDot salt shed.   Rescue 41 -from Pennfield assisted on scene with patient extrication and cleanup.
